Design Philosophy – “I listen to the client,” Jennifer Wilder says. “Then I listen to the house itself.” Foremost is what the clients feel they need. Close attention is given to their frustrations and desires. Then the architect’s original vision needs consideration. While a traditional space speaks of history, line, lighting and shadow and offers a protective feel, a bold contemporary setting requires layout with matching drama. Jennifer works with her clients to produce a well-designed space that expresses who they are; at the same time, it is inspiring, comforting and energizing for the many hours they will spend within the walls they have created together.

Education and Affiliations – Jennifer received her education at Osterreich Amerikanisher Instituten in Vienna, Austria, Colorado Women’s College, and the University of Montana. For the past 10 years, she has been an Instructor in Interior Design for Continued Education at Bellevue and Tacoma Community Colleges. Ms. Wilder has over 30 years experience, with 19 years as Allied Member ASID. She was a 5 year member of National Home Furnishings League, and is a lifetime member of PEO. Assoc IIDA.  (International Interior Design Association)

Recognition and awards – “My greatest pleasure comes from the satisfaction of my clients,” Jennifer explains. “I do not enter design contests because the reward for me in designing comes purely with pleasing each individual client.” Jennifer’s designing skills, however, are referenced in commentary generated by architects and clients:
