  Design Philosophy - Karen Ellentuck, principal of Ellentuck Interiors, has achieved recognition for her interior design on several occasions during her 18 years as a designer. She believes a well-designed interior incorporates a strong space plan, great color, exciting materials, proper lighting, well-scaled furniture and architectural details. Add to this the personal taste and style of a client and you have a unique space with enduring qualities. Ellentuck Interiors aspires to achieve this result with each project from interview through installation.

Specialties - Custom Kitchen and bath, Residential remodeling, Residential furnishings, Small business and office design, Tile Design, Lighting Design.

Education - Karen graduated from Northwestern University, earning her degree in art history. She obtained her associate arts degree in interior design from Bellevue Community College. She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers having passed the National Qualifying Exam for Designers in October, 2002. She has been a Studio Designer at the Seattle Design Center since 1998.
