Philosophy
Nia formed Collins Group Design, Inc. in 1991 to merge the disciplines of residential home design and interior design in one agency. She provides creative vision, client interaction, and project overview services on every Collins Group Design project.
Nia's design philosophy is “Two Disciplines: One Vision™” Her team combines the talents of both residential home designers & interior designers to provide the expertise you need in achieving a home that reflects your personal style.
Nia’s client’s remark on her ability to create custom designs that provide exceptional solutions uniquely suited to their lifestyle and personality. Her talent at finding and creating luxury products and designing homes perfectly suited to her clients make each project a reflection of its owner.
She is a long-standing member of the Seattle design community. Her work has appeared in numerous national, regional, and local publications, and she is a frequent speaker on interior design topics for both the trade and consumers.
Nia was chosen to represent Seattle Design Center through its prestigious Studio Designer program and has been with the group since 1997. She is also a featured remodeling professional on HomeSavvi.com, a home remodeling website with informative articles, professional advice, and other resources.
