Design
Philosophy -“As with everything in life, I approach design with passion. My design philosophy revolves around working with my clients to create drama and harmony in a room, according to their needs and wishes. Lighting, color, texture, angles and movement all tie in to a complete artistic vision for each space.” - Midori
Background: Born in Tokyo, Japan, Midori trained at the coveted Toyo Art College and graduated with distinction as an Architectural Interior Designer. She began her career at Tanseisha, Tokyo’s most prestigious design firm. At age 24 she joined Kobayashi-KK, to become that company’s youngest Chief Designer.
In 1991, Midori moved to Seattle where she worked as an independent commercial designer and for a national residential design chain. At the request of her loyal repeat clients, Midori established her own residential and commercial design company.
