Design
Philosophy -Space Planning, Color, Fabrics, Furniture, just were do you start on a great design? I start every project with the clients that are using the space and what there needs will be. I truly believe that form must follow function and great design reflects the clients who are using the space.
Great design should be exciting to all your senses. Fabrics need to be scaled to the item they are being placed on, they should be luxurious to the touch and wear to the life of the piece. Wood furniture pieces should have function as well as being beautiful. There are so many things to take into consider when design your space.

Fee Methods - Great design and quality materials are never inexpensive , I do my best to find the best prices and highest quality for my clients needs.
My passion is design and will be happy to spend the first hour of design time at my Studio at the Seattle Design Center at no charge. This will allow you to see the type of work we can accomplish together and give you a better idea of everything that is available to you.
My fees are based on the projects I am working on. The same project may be billed to the client in different methods , for example a full design project will have billable hours of design time at $100 an hour as well as a percentage of cost of materials, usually 20%. Consultations time is billed at $100 an hour with a 5 hour design time minimum.
