to Seattle Design Center
Visit Seattle Design Center and you will
discover over 65 showrooms offering the finest custom furniture,
fabric, floor covering, cabinetry, lighting, fixtures and accessories
from over 1,500 premier manufacturers. Displayed in well-designed
room settings that rival the best show homes, this incredible
collection inspires creativity and offers the right design solutions
for your home.
Because most of our showroom product
is customized for each client, Seattle Design Center showrooms
only sell directly to interior designers, architects, contractors
and specifiers who specify the materials and provide creative
design solutions for each of their clients.

Admittance
Policy
Design
Professionals and Design Students
Seattle Design Center showrooms service design trade professionals
(interior designers, decorators, architects, contractors, retail
furniture/accessory buyers, contract dealers, upholsterers,
specifiers and facility managers) and design students. Trade
professionals must present an
SDC Design Trade Membership Pass
or the following credentials for admittance: business license,
business check or business credit card and design trade business
card. College-level interior design students must show their
student identification to be admitted with a day badge or their
SDC
Design Student Membership pass. If you are a member
and have a design trade or student pass, please remember to
scan your badge at the concierge desk each time you visit to
enjoy the Membership Rewards Program. |

Visitors
Because the design center is not a retail environment, we offer
an orientation and a
tour of Seattle Design Center
showrooms where a professional interior designer will explain
how visitors can access the product we showcase and get the
professional assistance of an interior designer. This service
is provided to visitors who are not already working with a design
professional. The designer who provides the tour may also facilitate
purchases and/or offer design and consulting services.
* Please note that several
showrooms are open to the trade only even during public viewing
hours, therefore you will be given a floor plan listing the
showrooms that welcome public visitors when you check in at
the Concierge desk.
Clients and visitors are welcome between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday
thru Friday.
We also offer
group tours of Seattle Design
Center showrooms.
Clients
Clients may accompany their designer to Seattle Design Center.
Designers must make arrangements for unaccompanied clients to
visit us by calling the Concierge toll free at 800.497.7997
or emailing SDCInfo@hines.com and specific showrooms you would like to visit. Some showrooms
require that clients accompany their designer when they visit.
Trade
Building Policies
Seattle Design Center is a professional environment that serves
members of the design trade. To service them in a professional
manner, please help us by following the following guidelines
listed below.
Children
Our unique merchandising environment may present hazards to
young children. Please do not bring strollers or children under
the age of 12 into the showrooms. Infants in front packs are
allowed.
Showroom Accounts
Each showroom is an independent business and has its own policies
and account system. If you are a design trade professional wishing
to do business with SDC showrooms, please inquire with each
showroom directly for their individual hours and policies.
Wireless
Internet Service
Stay Connected
We proudly offer complimentary wireless Internet service to
accommodate and streamline your business needs when visiting
the design center. Wireless Internet access is available in
the Atrium and Plaza common areas, on the skybridge and in the
third floor Conference Center. Instructional brochures are available
at either concierge desk on how to connect to the wireless Internet
from your Wi-Fi-enabled PC. |
